Snack Time Suggestions
- Almonds, walnuts or cashews (10-12)
- Sliced tomato with Feta and olive oil
- Sunflower or pumpkin seeds
- Variety of seeds and dried cranberriesÂ
- Celery and raw almond butter (cashew or peanut)Â
- Apple or small banana and raw almond butter (cashew or peanut)Â
- Rice chips with hummus
- Veggie sticks (celery, carrots, cucumber) and hummus or guacamole
- 1 small avocado or 1/2 of a large one with Himalayan pink salt
- Butter free popcorn seasoned with your choice of seasoning
- Kale chipsÂ
- Zucchini or sweet potato oven chipsÂ
- Greek yogurt (plain and 2% fat) with berries (or other fruit) or honey
- Green smoothie with flax or chia seeds
- Make your own trail mix with raw nuts, seeds, and dried fruit
- Mixed berries (or mixed berry smoothie with flax seeds or chia seeds)
- Protein Bites
Protein Bites Recipe
1 ½ tbsp nut butter
3 tbsp oats
½ tbsp honey
½ tbsp. dark chocolate oats
Mix all ingredients and roll it into a ball.
